We taste notes of chocolate cake, dried apricot, and warming spices

This seasonal blend opens with an aromatic whiff of warm spice before settling into a deep, chocolate-cake sweetness. Then comes a bright, fruit-tinged lift with just a hint of red wine. Certified organic at the farm level, it's made for cool nights, candlelit rituals, and witchy 90s movie marathons. One sip and you'll fall under its spell.

20% of Practical Magic sales this October benefit SANA, which supports women coffee farmers through integrative mental health care and wellness programs, helping them build the agency and self-reliance to shape their futures and thrive.

THE APROCOMSA MANOS DE MUJER PROGRAM
The Honduran half of this blend comes from Manos de Mujer ("Women's Hands"), a program of the APROCOMSA co-op in Marcala, a region with its own protected designation of origin. Every lot is organically farmed, carefully processed, and traceable to the woman who grew it.
The co-op runs on a philosophy called Finca Humana, "the Human Farm," which puts people's wellbeing first and teaches its 1,500+ members to farm in harmony with nature. At La Fortaleza, the co-op's biodynamic demonstration farm, producers swap know-how in week-long seminars called Pata de Chucho, or "stray dog's pawprints." It's a nod to their dogged curiosity. Coffee sales also help fund an international school that trains the next generation of Finca Humana leaders.

DUMERSO WASHING STATION
In 2010, sisters Hirut and Mahder Berhanu bought a washing station outside the town of Yirgacheffe that had sat mostly idle since it was built in 1998. By 2013 they had it fully running, and it has turned out standout lots ever since. Hirut, who goes by Beti, runs the business as CEO. Mahder manages the station, where an on-site cupping lab keeps quality dialed in.
During harvest, Dumerso employs more than 400 people, 95% of them women. In a region where coffee makes up over 90% of household income, the sisters put their success right back into the community. They provide loans and healthcare for staff and housing for seasonal workers. They've funded power equipment that brings electricity to their neighbors, along with a local clinic and a school library, and they're planning a daycare for working families. The station is certified organic and Rainforest Alliance certified. They're also turning leftover coffee parchment into pressed fuel, giving local farmers a more sustainable alternative to firewood.
