Job Title: Farmers Market Assistant
Location: Austin, TX
Employment Type: Part-time 
Pay: $15/hour + tips 

Position overview: We're looking for a reliable, upbeat, and self-motivated person to represent Sightseer Coffee at our Saturday farmers market booth. This role involves a mix of behind-the-scenes logistics, customer-facing service, and brand ambassadorship. You’ll be the face of Sightseer Coffee for many customers, so a friendly and approachable demeanor is key! The time commitment includes: 

• Saturdays 6:30am -2:30pm 
• Optional additional hours working on special projects

Responsibilities:

• Brew and prepare hot coffee for market service
• Load coffee, equipment, and supplies into the company van
• Drive the van to the farmers market location in North Austin
• Set up our booth, including tent, tables, signage, brewing station, etc
• Serve hot coffee, cold brew, and retail bags of beans
• Engage warmly with customers and represent Sightseer's brand values
• Process sales using our POS system (Square)
• Tear down and pack up the booth after market closes
• Drive everything back to the roastery, unload, and clean up
• Provide feedback to team 

Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Food Handler's license (we can help you get this)
• Comfortable driving a fairly large van
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
• Able to keep things neat and organized 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs 
• Comfort with early mornings and working outdoors 
• Experience with coffee, food service, pop ups, or markets is a plus 
• A love of coffee and an appreciation for what we do!
