Season of the Witch Dark Roast

Is every day Halloween when it comes to your coffee? We get it. We worked some witchy magic to get this one tasting roasty and toasty but never burnt or bitter.

We found this lot with the help of our friends at Osito Coffee Importers, who noticed that more and more female producers were delivering coffee to their purchasing point in Suaza under their own names. To bolster the trend and encourage more women to engage in the business aspects of coffee farming, they developed this women-producer community lot from farms in Huila (and to a lesser degree, Cauca). They hope to expand the program, creating more incentives for women to engage more dynamically in the coffee industry.

• Producers: 8 smallholder farmers from Huila and 2 from Cauca
• Altitude: 1600-2000 meters
• Variety: Primarily colombia, castillo, and pink bourbon
